One More Cheese – One More Time / The Reward Is Cheese Mash-Up
I can’t believe Vernon kay’s show this morning on BBC Radio 1. There is some bloke who has quite simply taken two tracks, cut them up and pasted them together quite terribly to bring what Vernon says is an awesome tune. It is alright, but the original is fookin AWESOME!
The One More part of the track is quite obviously One More Time by the french electronic maestro’s Daft Punk. but the cheese part is something i found only a few weeks ago. The track, the funky, dirty, bouncy part is called The Reward Is Cheese by a guy I believe to be called Deadmau5. (pronoun: Dead mouse.) The original mix of that track can be found (here on my page added many, many months later) or on www.myspace.com/deadmau5123 but the Official page of Joel Zimmerman iswww.myspace.com/deadmau5 I was only listening to it last night after searching for Deadmau5’s official page, and his track is on there but i don’t think it’s his official one.
Jwels whoever he is, do not even think you should take credit you cheeky barsteward.
One More Cheese by Jwels or The Reward Is Cheese by Deadmau5? I will take the latter.
It’s always good in my opinion for slightly lesser-known tracks to become recognised through someone else’s creativity promoting the construction on top of another. i just thought it did not work lol, and i am loyal to both groups of artists but One More Cheese is a minimalistic track that should not have been tampoered with.
A good find is The Young Punx – Drum & Bacharach from their album Your Music is Killing Me, now that is as random as it gets but it works brilliantly. The album too is a mixture of sounds rather than a mash up of tracks. A NuClassic if you like, i’m starting a new genre lol!

Deadmau5, a canadian DJ and Producer, published “The Reward is Cheese” in early 2008. Hes known for outstanding Progressive House Tracks. Check out “Not Exactly” by Deadmau5, by far his best track yet (imho).
The mash-up with with DPs “One More Time”, however, is quite reviving this tune.

gotta agree with you on this one. When i heard the track on the radio at work was lovin the dirty beat but the mash up with one more time is poor to say the least. Good spot for the original!
